I Don't Wet My Plants, They Wet Themselves

Making Plant Life, Easy!

I love plants, but I know not everyone has a green thumb. I want everyone to experience the joy of plants without the stress. After a lot of research, and trial and error I found a way to share my passion for plants with you! Each terrarium is uniquely made to become its own ecosystem. Come see for yourself and join a DIY class virtually or in person. See you soon!

Springtails

Springtails may be 1/16th - 1/18th in long.

They can be a verity of colors.

These amazing insects are found in areas of high moisture and in organic debris.

Springtails DO NOT damage food, clothing, furniture or property. Nor do they bite or sting, they are harmless to people.

Springtails feed on decaying roots, fungi, algae and fertilize plants making them perfect in closed terrarium enviornments.

Terrarium soil

I make the terrarium soil mixture myself. I found that using sphagnum moss, coconut fiber, lava rock and worm castings YES I said it worm casting works wonders! It allows the soil to hold just the right amount of moister and provides the perfect amount of nutrients for the plants to thrive. I love worm composting. It's a great way to help fertilize the plants and help reduce waste. If you are interested in learning more about worm composting or the terrarium soil mixture feel free to email me.
